It's not like that at all. There is a small, unmarked trail that heads off towards the rock. However, for those looking for a taste of the best scenery in northern PA, you wont want to miss a fantastic day trip biking the Pine Creek Gorge through the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The people at Pine Creek outfitters were very helpful. Much of the best scenery sits between these two points, and Blackwell is a great jumping-off point to head to your next destination. If you have never been to the Pine Creek Gorge and traveled on the Pine Creek Trail in Lycoming and Tioga Counties in north central Pennsylvania, then you must add it to your to-do list. There is also an inn at Slate Run Village, which is a little farther south than Cedar Run, which will allow you to ride about the same amount of miles each day.
